The 19th ACS Australian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence will be opened by Professor Daryl Le Grew, Vice Chancellor,UTAS at 9:00 AM on 6th of December.

  Welcome to AI 2006.

AI 2006 is the 19th ACS Australian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. The conference will be held at Wrest Point Hotel, Hobart. Please see the Registration & Accomodation page for more information about the conference venue and accomodation information. This conference series is Australia's premier venue for the dissemination of new research in both the theory and application of artificial intelligence.
 
AI 2006 will be hosted by the University of Tasmania's School of Computing, and will be held in the beautiful city of Hobart, Tasmania, 4th to 8th December, 2006.
 
We invite authors to submit papers on any aspect of artificial intelligence research and practice. All papers will be peer reviewed, and those accepted for the conference will be included in a proceedings volume published by Springer-Verlag.

2006-10-16 :

To authors of workshop papers,
Early-Bird rate registration is allowed for the authors of workshop papers. If you already registered the main conference, please send us an email to get an additional invoice. If you haven't register yet, please leave a requesting comment in our registration Web page.

 
2006-10-06 :
"The selection results for student's scholarship are sent by e-mail now. If you don't receive the notification e-mail and have any questions about the student scholarship, send e-mail to Dr. Byeong Kang.
 
2006-9-29 :
"The schedule for student's scholarship notification is postponded for one week.We will announce the final decision as soon as possible.
 
2006-8-15 :
"Accept / reject notification schedule is postponded to 29th August, 2006 because of the unexpected number of paper submission and increase of reviewing time." Review report and camera ready submission page will be available from 30th August.
 
2006-6-28 New!!:
Deadline for paper submission is extended to 7th July, 2006. The submission due date is extended to 7th July, 2006, because there are many requests for extension.

  Publication

Papers accepted for presentation at AI 2006 will be published in LNAI, the series of Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence, from Springer-Verlag.
